32 Civilians Killed in Daesh Shelling

Islam Times - Daesh shelled areas in eastern and northern Mosul, killing 32 civilians, including women and children. They used improvised mortars and targeted Muthanna, Baladiyat, Rifaq, al-Barid and al-Sukkar districts in eastern and northeastern Mosul.

The liberation of western Mosul, home to nearly 750,000 people are known for its narrow streets and alleys complicating its liberation and it restricts access of armored vehicle.

Earlier, more than 200 civilians, with estimates as high as 500 were killed in an US airstrike as Daesh continue to us civilians as human shields. Some suggested that civilians are forced into homes loaded with explosives wherefrom Daesh provoke attacks.
