Saudi Arabia pays millions to a British company to polish the image of Mohammed bin Salman

Islam Times - British newspapers on Friday dealt with issues including a British public relations and advertising company run by a close friend of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who is offering promotional materials to clients including the Saudi government.

The Guardian newspaper has posted on its front page a report by Jim Waterson, an editor of the media titled "The Prime Minister's Affiliate runs a network to mislead Facebook."

CTV Partners, an advertising and public relations firm run by Sir Linton Crosby, a close ally of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, has built a network of misrepresentations that offer advertising material as real news on Facebook.

The author says an extensive investigation by the newspaper, which included interviews with current and former employees of the company and an extensive study of its strategies revealed that it offered "professional defamation on the Internet", that it accepted controversial clients, and that some of its employees were bullying anti-women.

The newspaper said the company received hundreds of millions of pounds from the Saudi government to polish the image of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who was later "implicated in the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi."

The company also worked with the party of former Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak, who was later convicted in one of the world's biggest corruption scandals.
