The Palestine Telegraph , 13 Jul 2009 12:15

Ziyad Al-Hassan, executive director of International Al-Quds Foundation, has revealed that twenty tunnels have been dug under Al-Aqsa Mosque, some of them were opened to tourists and others were still under work. He also confirmed that the real objective of those excavations and tunnels is "establishing a Jewish touristic city". Al-Hassan said in a written statement yesterday: "There are a lot of Palestinian and Arab institutions know the Israeli scheme and its objectives against in the occupied city of Jerusalem, but no one can claim that they know all thing about the tunnels and excavations under Al-Aqsa Mosque."

Al-Hassan showed that the main aim of those tunnels is to establish "a Jewish touristic city to make it as a Jewish heritage under the Al-Aqsa Mosque."
He also said that a large part of the Israeli scheme to Judaize Jerusalem is above the ground through seizing the lands of Silwan to convert it to the so-called Garden of David.

Moreover, Al-Hassan reported that there are touristic offices and companies that are now working for promoting Jewish touristic projects and programs, whereas, foreign tourists will enter and exit Jerusalem without seeing any Muslim impacts.
