Trump Names Hostage Negotiator Robert O’Brien as New National Security Adviser

O'Brien, currently serving as the very successful Special Presidential Envoy for Hostage Affairs at the State Department, as our new National Security Advisor. I have worked long & hard with Robert. He will do a great job!" Trump wrote on Twitter.
O'Brien has a long history in the Republican foreign policy circles.
Since his inauguration as US president in January 2017, Trump has fired three national security advisers: Michael Flynn, Herbert McMaster and John Bolton.
