Trump accuses Democrats of seeking to divide the country

Trump said at a news conference on Wednesday that "Democrats only care about the elections, they do not care about our country," noting that they planned a new phase of what he called "witch hunt" to coincide with the work of the United Nations General Assembly.

“All this huge work we have done is not covered by the media,” he said. “The Democrats have done this trick during the General Assembly to divert attention from the tremendous achievements we have made.”

Trump stressed that he had nothing in his phone call to isolate him.

Trump accused the Democratic presidential candidate and Senate Democrats , Joe Biden of putting pressure on the Ukrainian president and threatening him.

Trump said Democrats were "working to divide and destroy the country," and that they have committed all the things they accuse him of doing.

Trump also noted that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was influenced by leftists during her decision to start considering removing him from the presidency.
