Islam Times - New US sanctions 'unacceptable' : Moscow

Islam Times - The Russian Foreign Ministry announced that the new US sanctions imposed on three individuals and five ships under the pretext of the company supplying jet fuel to the Russian forces in Syria is totally unacceptable.

"This seems to be a continuation of the old US policy, which is based on unilateral sanctions, which we consider totally unacceptable," said Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Vershinin.

The recent sanctions imposed by the United States relate in particular to three Russian citizens working for Sovfreight.

Earlier on Thursday, the US Treasury Department announced sanctions against three individuals, five ships and Maritime Assistance LLC for allegedly providing jet fuel to Russian forces in Syria.
