The deputy minister pointed out about the visa war between Russia and the United States and said : “We have had great difficulties for a long time in terms of sending long-term assignments to our embassies and consulates in the United States, and we have problems sending short-term workers. We respond exactly identically, in this case, so Americans have great difficulties in solving their problems in Russia, and we know that. We propose to them to agree in this area, but so far it has not happened.”

It is noteworthy that the US authorities recently prevented the entry of 10 members of the Russian delegation to the United States to the work of the General Assembly in New York.

Moscow responded to the US decision to recall its deputy ambassador, describing the incident as "a frustrating step and has no explanation or justification."
