Islam Times - 'SDF': Any Turkish attack would undermine the efforts to defeat 'ISIS'

Islam Times - The US-backed SDF militia warned on Monday that the imminent attack Turkey was threatening would undermine its efforts to crush the Wahhabi Islamic State.

"Any Turkish attack would undermine successful efforts to defeat ISIS and allow the return of the leaders of the terrorist organization hiding in the desert," she said in a tweet on her Twitter account.

This came hours after Erdogan's threat, and demanded in a statement "the international community to pressure Turkey to prevent it from any aggression" against Kurdish-controlled areas and she stressed that Erdogan's continuing threats "are serious and threaten the security and stability of the region."

Kurds fear any Turkish attack could help revive the Islamic State terror group, which is still moving through its sleeper cells.
