Islam Times - Turkish fighter jets neutralized nine Kurdish militias in northern Iraq in an operation coordinated by the intelligence service.

The Anatolia news agency reported as a commander from the eastern region of the Syrian Democratic Forces said on Monday that the latter withdrew many of its gunmen from the northern countryside of Deir Ez Zur and the camps and prisons of "ISIS" and transferred them to the border with Turkey.

The developments came after US President Donald Trump announced the withdrawal of US troops from northeastern Syria ahead of a possible Turkish attack on the area.

The Syrian Democratic Forces considered that Washington's decision and the statements of its officials on non-interference in the upcoming Turkish operation in the region "a stab in the back."
