Zarif clarifies Iran's condition for dialogue with Saudi Arabia

In response to Mohammed bin Salman's call on Iraq and Pakistan to mediate with Iran, Zarif said the Iranian Foreign Ministry was always ready to cooperate with its neighbors to ensure the security of the region.

Zarif said that the Iranian president announced the initiative of the "Alliance of Hope" and "Peace in Hormuz" before the UN General Assembly in New York.

The foreign minister stressed that in light of the circumstances and conditions in which the Saudis announced their desire for dialogue with Iran, if the issues of the region will be discussed at the negotiating table and not the bloodshed of the people, they will inevitably find the Islamic Republic of Iran on its side.
