Islam Times - The headquarters of the Afghan parliament in Dar al-Aman, west of the capital Kabul, came under rocket attack during a regular session of the House of Representatives, the second attack in a week.

Kabul police said in a statement on Monday that "three rocket-propelled grenades landed far from the parliament in the sixth district, and did not result in casualties." Witnesses told Sputnik several explosions took place near the Afghan parliament, "I was close to the place," the source said, "I saw deputies and the rest of the people on the outside courtyard of the parliament running to safe places."

The attack took place during a public session of the Wolesi Jirga, which was broadcast live, but deputies continued the session to question the Afghan justice minister.

About a week ago, the parliament was hit by a similar missile attack, in which two rockets landed near the site early on Tuesday morning, October 8. No one has claimed responsibility for the attacks so far.
