China calls on Turkey to stop fighting in Syria and get back on track

Shuang said: "China opposes the use of force in international relations, we believe that all parties should fully comply with the principles and objectives of the UN Charter, as well as the rules of international relations, and seek ways of a diplomatic political settlement of the problem under international law." 

He stressed that "Syria's sovereignty, territorial integrity, independence and unity must be respected and protected," stressing that Beijing "urges Turkey to stop hostilities and return to the right path of political settlement."
