Egypt detest Turkey's aggression and welcomes US sanctions

Islam Times - The Egyptian Foreign Ministry affirmed its deep resentment and concern over the ongoing Turkish aggression against Syria, and the associated violations of the rules of international law, and the consequent serious repercussions on the humanitarian situation, with the loss of lives and as well as very negative effects of this aggression on the path of a political settlement process in Syria.

It said in a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry on Thursday morning, that the statement issued by the European Union of the clear position only confirms the rejection and condemnation of those Turkish attacks.

In this context, Egypt expressed its satisfaction and welcomed the position of Washington to impose initial sanctions on the Turkish regime, in order to push Turkey to retreat from its aggressive policies.
