Islam Times - Iraqi security media announces details of the attack on 'Allas' field

Islam Times - The security sources in Iraq announced that a security force repelled an attack by ISIS terrorists on the Allas field in Salah al-Din, indicating that this resulted in five deaths and injuries.

"ISIS operatives were attacked at two security points in the Allas fields in Salah al-Din province, and an explosive device went off on a wheel of the security forces there, killing two members," he said in a statement.

"The force that tried to evacuate the dead came under direct fire, wounding three members," he said, adding that "the force was reinforced by a joint force of the leadership of Salah al-Din operations and the Hashd Al-Shaabi to pursue terrorist elements who carried out this criminal act."

A security source said earlier on Monday that a security force had repelled an attack by ISIS operatives on the Allas oil field in Salah al-Din.
