Islam Times - US Defense Secretary arrives in Baghdad

Islam Times - US Defense Secretary Mark Esper arrived in Baghdad Wednesday morning for an unannounced visit.

Esber visited Saudi capital Riyadh on Monday for meetings with Saudi leaders to discuss common regional concerns.

The United States has deployed military forces in Saudi Arabia to bolster the kingdom's defenses after last month's attacks on its oil facilities.

The US Defense Secretary, Mark Esper, announced last Friday, he will go to the Middle East, to find out the latest developments in the region's operations, and then go to the meeting of "NATO" ministerial in Brussels, where he will meet with his Turkish counterpart.
