Yemen: Hostile Spy Plane Shot Down in Najran

The Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree wrote on Twitter that the Yemeni air defenses were able to shoot down a reconnaissance plane this morning in the area of Al-Souh off Najran.

Brigadier Saree pointed out that the downing of the aircraft was carried out with an appropriate weapon while carrying out espionage and hostile acts inside Yemeni territory, without giving further details.

The downed spy plane this morning is the third to be shot down in less than a week, as the air defenses of the army and the Popular Committees shot down a spy plane fighting forces of aggression on Wednesday evening in Ras Isa area in Hodeidah province.
