Kuwait Confirms the Transfer of an Iranian Message to Saudi Arabia and Bahrain

Al-Jarallah said in a press statement on Tuesday that "Kuwait has already conveyed to the brothers those messages," adding that "so far, no answers have materialized on this subject."

On the date of the next Gulf summit, the Kuwaiti deputy minister pointed out that "consultations are still ongoing on setting the deadline in coordination with the brothers."

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani sent a message to the monarchs of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain "as part of Tehran's assertion that it is seeking peace in the region."

Kuwait's Al-Jarida newspaper recently quoted an Iranian Foreign Ministry source as saying Tehran had received a positive response from Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
