Islam Times - British Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Wednesday notify Queen Elizabeth II about his resignation to launch the Conservative Party's official election campaign.

Johnson met the British queen at Buckingham Palace, where she was asked to allow parliament to dissolve, and submitted his resignation in a problematic step necessary to run in the elections that will take place on December 12.

In a speech on Wednesday to launch a formal election campaign outside Downing Street, Johnson warned voters of a "terrifying play" they would face if Labor leader Jeremy Corbyn wins the election.

Johnson pledged that the first measure, which he will work on if he wins the elections, will be to ratify the deal he reached with Brussels for "Brexit".
