Iraq: 17 Rockets Landed near a Military Base Where US forces are Stationed

Islam Times - The Iraqi Ministry of Defense announced on Friday evening that 17 rockets landed near a military base where US forces are stationed in the Qayyarah area of Mosul in the north of the country.

Informed sources said that the attack did not result in any casualties or material, while no one claimed responsibility for the launch of rockets towards the base.

For its part, the security media cell said in a statement  that "the security forces in the province is conducting a search and inspection aimed at arresting the group that fired rockets towards the base."
