The spokesman for the governor of Nangarhar province Ataullah announced that 32 "ISIS" fighters surrendered to government forces on Saturday.
ISIS was involved in the Afghan conflict in 2015 when it took control of large swathes of Nangarhar and Kunar states near the border of Pakistan.
