Iraq: A Large Number of "ISIS" Killed by 14 Air Strikes

Islam Times - the country's counterterrorism agency said on Sunday that a large number of ISIS militants were killed during a security operation to hunt down members of the group in the Makhmour Mountains in the northern province of Nineveh.

"A counter-terrorism force carried out a massive operation today to hunt down the remnants of the Islamic State terrorist organization in the Makhmour mountains," he said in a statement.

The agency added, "The operation resulted in the death of a large number of terrorists and the destruction of trenches and caves," noting that "the operation was attributed to 14 air strikes from the army aviation."
