Islam Times - The Joint Operations Command in Iraq on Monday denied reports on the Facebook and Twitter accounts of the Iraqi Counterterrorism Agency about the arrest of Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi.

"The official page of the counterterrorism agency has been hacked by those with weak souls and the proceedings are continuing to prosecute the perpetrators," said in a statement.

He added that "what was published on this page is untrue and has no credibility whatsoever, so I need to mention."

The anti-terrorism agency 's documented account on Facebook and Twitter late Monday night issued a statement indicating a directive from the head of the agency, General Taleb Shaghati, to announce the military disobedience and the arrest of Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi.
