Afghanistan: 15 Civilians Killed in a Mine Explosion in Kunduz

Islam Times - Fifteen civilians were killed on Wednesday by a landmine explosion in Imam Sahib district of Kunduz province in northern Afghanistan.

In a statement, a spokesman for the Afghan presidency, "Siddiq Siddiqui," that a mine planted on the side of a road in the judiciary, It exploded as a car carrying civilians passed nearby.

He said the explosion killed 15 civilians as they were inside the car.

Siddiq accused the Taliban of planting the mine on the side of the road.

The group has not claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
