Islam Times - President Rouhani: Our Enemies Failed in The Escalation of The Embargo

Islam Times - Iranian President Hassan Rouhani affirmed the failure of the American enemies and the Zionists in the plan to escalate the embargo against the Iranian people.

In his statement this Sunday morning, President Rouhani said that he attended the meeting of the Islamic Shura Council to hand over the country's draft budget for the coming Iranian year (beginning March 21), that during the first nine months of the current (Iranian) year, 340 trillion riyals (the dollar equivalent to 42,000 riyals according to the official price) was paid to the development budget and that the important and basic projects taken into consideration by the government; either they were opened or they will be opened until the end of this year.

He added, that while our enemies, the Americans and the Zionists, envisioned that, by escalating the embargo on the Iranian people, they would paralyze the effectiveness of the people and the government, they felt powerless from this scheme, as the government has managed during the past nine months (since the beginning of the Iranian year until now) to take notable steps in the general economy.
