Turkey and Russia Agree to End the Civil War in Libya

Çavuşoğlu added: "Neither Syria nor Libya is a competition zone between Russia and Turkey, but both countries are an important player in the two files."

He continued, "Russian President Vladimir Putin suggested working jointly in Libya, and we agreed to that immediately."

In Qatar, the Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs met with the President of the Presidential Council of the Libyan Accord Government, Fayez al-Sarraj.

Çavuşoğlu, also discussed with Al-Sarraj, the memorandum of understanding between Turkey and Libya regarding the delineation of maritime jurisdiction.
