America is Using Spy Planes after North Korean Warning of "New Strategic Weapons"
The US Air Force RC-135W Revit Joint aircraft carried out operations over South Korea at an altitude of 31,000 feet, according to a tweet from the Aircraft Spot, without specifying the time of the operation.

This type of aircraft has been spotted on mission over the peninsula over the past few days, along with many other surveillance aircraft such as the EP-3E and RC-135S, according to the Air Traffic Monitor.

The flights of the reconnaissance aircraft came after North Korean leader Kim Jong Un said that Pyongyang no longer felt committed to the self-imposed moratorium on nuclear tests and long-range missiles, and that the world will witness a new strategic weapon "in the near future," the North Korean Central News Agency reported on Wednesday.

North Korea has refrained from conducting such tests since November 2017 when Kim announced the suspension of all ICBM tests, which US President Donald Trump has described as one of his major diplomatic achievements.

Experts say North Korea's "strategic weapon" could mean an ICBM missile capable of carrying multiple warheads or a submarine ballistic missile.
