Syrian Army Shot Down a Drone in Hama Countryside

Islam Times - On Wednesday evening, Syrian anti-government forces shot down a drone in the vicinity of Asilah town, in the northwestern Hama countryside.

And the Syrian "SANA" agency quoted a military source as saying that the anti-army forces responded Wednesday evening to a drone plane launched by the terrorists, which tried to approach the army points and safe areas around the town of Asilah, northwest of Hama, and brought it down.

The agency released a photo of the shot-down plane.



In the past weeks, the Syrian army countermeasures have confronted many drones that attempted to attack the army points and safe areas, and shot down most of them.

In a related context, the army units operating in the liberated countryside in Maarat al-Numan area responded to an armed attack on the military points on the outskirts of the villages of Smakah and Al-Barasa in Idlib countryside, southeast.
