Islam Times - The death toll from armed groups in Aleppo increased during the two days to nine martyrs and more than twenty wounded, among them children and women, in the bombing of the neighborhoods of Al-Zahra, Al-Hamdaniya, and Al-Kallaseh. The Syrian army responded to the fire sources targeting the armed groups in the western and southern countryside of the city.

Armed groups have stepped up their bombardment to revive the city of Aleppo with explosive shells during the past two days, which resulted in the death of 9 civilians and the injury of more than twenty others, expanded from the circle targeting them to cover Al-Sukari and Al-Amiriya neighborhoods alongside Al-Hamdania and Al-Zahra neighborhood.

The retaliatory bombing campaign against the people of Aleppo began after the Syrian army resumed its operations in the southeastern countryside of Idlib, after armed groups violated the armistice more than once, through which the Syrian army aims to control the longitudinal road in Aleppo, Damascus.

Observers believe that the Syrian army is responding firmly to armed groups targeting the city of Aleppo, and this response will be a key to launching a military operation that will cleanse the countryside of Aleppo and rid it of the specter of death that haunts its children.
