Islam Times - The office of the leader of the Nigerian Islamic Movement denied news published by the media regarding Sheikh Zakzaki's death as a result of severe poisoning caused by large wounds he had previously suffered.

Sheikh Zakzaki's office explained that with our assertion that Sheikh Zakzaki's health is unstable, but we confirm that the rumor that was reported is not true.

Sheikh Zakzaki's office added that despite the Sheikh's suffering and poor health conditions, the authorities transferred him to "Kaduna" prison and never allowed his examination by doctors.
