Islam Times - Deal of the Century Will Not Pass: Haniyeh

Islam Times - Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political bureau of Hamas, confirmed on Sunday that the American "peace" plan known as the "Deal of the Century" would not pass.

Haniyeh added that this plan will push the Palestinians "to a new stage in their struggle."

Haniyeh said, in a written press statement, a copy of which was received by "France Press", that "Hamas" rejects "the deal of the century conspiracy and considers it a battle and regression is prohibited."

Haniyeh, who is on a tour outside the Gaza Strip, called on the Fatah movement and the Palestinian factions to meet in Cairo, "to chart our path in defense of our Jerusalem, our sanctity, and our sanctities."

The United States extended an invitation to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his rival in the upcoming general elections, Benny Gantz, to meet in Washington to discuss the plan.

It is noteworthy that Ismail Haniyeh continues his foreign tour, and a prominent leader in "Hamas" confirmed that the head of the movement will remain outside the Strip for up to a year.
