The Zionist entity: the assassination of Ismail Haniyah is still possible
Islam Times correspondent in Gaza reported that Al-Ahram newspaper quoted these sources saying: "Cairo moved quickly upon receipt of confirmed reports that the Zionist entity made a decision to liquidate Haniyah after the Eilat operation, so Cairo pushed on Tel Aviv in order to undo the decision and was quick to contact the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine to convince them to return to calming things down”.

The sources pointed to Al-Ahram reporter that the Egyptian efforts to persuade the Islamic Jihad Movement to return to calming things down goes in parallel with similar efforts carried out by Hamas in the Gaza Strip to persuade the other factions, especially the Popular Resistance Committees, to return to calming things down, although the latter was determined to continue firing rockets at the Zionist entity in response to its assassination of five of its senior leaders, he added by its Secretary-General Abu Awad Al-Neirab and its military commander Imad Hammad.

The sources said that the Palestinian Authority for its part helped to persuade the factions to return to calming things down after being informed that the Zionist threats of liquidating Ismail Haniyah were serious and that it was just a matter of time.

For his part, the Zionist minister Gideon Saar denied what the Al-Ahram newspaper reported on Monday that Egypt has banned the Zionist entity from the implementation of the plan which had been prepared for the liquidation of Ismael. Saar said in an interview with the Zionist Radio that this news has nothing to do with reality.

The First Zionist channel had revealed that the Zionist has sent tonight, through intermediaries, a stern warning to Palestinian organizations in Gaza that entails if the firing of rockets at the Zionist cities continues then it will lead the Zionist entity to strictly respond with intense air strikes that may also be coupled with ground operations.

The First channel also said that the first warning was sent in the wake of the Political and Security Affairs cabinet meeting, which was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, citing that no official statement was issued at the conclusion of the Council meeting.

For his part, the President of the Zionist army Benny Gantz took a field tour of the Zionist-Egyptian border and of the border with the Gaza Strip.

Gants said that peace with Egypt has a great strategic importance for the entity, claiming that the Palestinian organizations in the Gaza Strip exploit the situation in Sinai and use it as platform to perform operations on the Israeli border.

He added that the army will continue to work vigorously to thwart attempts to carry out operations against settlers in the south.

Furthermore, Zionist reports pointed in this context that the tension is still present in the south, and that large forces are still working there along the border, and that because of present fears of the implementation of another operation, in addition to the presence of warnings that point out to the formation of terrorist cells in the the region.

Zionist military sources were quoted saying that reinforcements are being stepped up, including tactical intelligence collection. The sources added that after the Eilat attacks the region must be taken care of in a different way, and that the in near term such installations will be placed on many fronts and there has to be preparations in line with that.

In the same context, Zionist sources said that the rocket fire from Gaza continues despite the announcement of the truce. The source pointed out to a rocket that fell in the open areas in the "Sha'ar Hanegev Regional Council." There were no reports of injuries or damage.

It was reported that the first missile was launched at 10 o’clock Friday night, and after half an hour the second missile exploded. A missile had already been launched at the third hour of Friday and exploded near Ashkelon without causing any damage or injuries.
