Explosion in Afghanistan’s Nangarhar Leaves 9 Dead, 4 Injured

The incident took place on Monday afternoon in Lalpur County when a mortar shell reportedly exploded, Sputnik reported.

“The explosion killed nine people and injured four more,” the source said.

The injured were taken to hospital.

No group or individual has yet claimed responsibility for the blast.
