The Islamic awakening signals the ushering in of the peoples’ triumph and the rule of Islam

Islam Times: The commander of the Islamic revolution confirmed in his opening speech at the first conference of the Islamic awakening which is being held in Tehran that the people themselves entered into the arena to achieve their demands for freedom, dignity, and pride. The arrogant forces, led by the United States and its allies, will not be able to impose their dominance on the peoples.

His Eminence added that the conspiracies which have been hatched by the West against Muslims for decades will not work, and that the final victory of Islam is inevitably coming.

The Commander of the Revolution asserted that the Islamic awakening that indicates the state of advancement and awareness among the peoples of the region is what brought us together here today, and this awareness and the state of advancement in the Islamic nation defeated the arrogant forces.

The commander of the Islamic revolution added that what happened in some Muslim countries like Iraq and Afghanistan was a prelude to the rise of Islam in the region against the arrogant forces and explained that the expulsion of the enemy was due to the people’s stance with their bodies, wills, and faith in order for them to abandon tyranny.

AyatoAllah Khamenei pointed out that the principles of the Islamic awakening is reflected in the revival of Islamic pride, adding that achieving the goals of the Islamic awakening does not go hand in hand with the desire of the West and the Zionist entity.

The commander of the Islamic revolution declared that facing the dangers that oppose the Islamic movements is enough to end western plans that want to stop it, and continued saying: The dangers facing the Islamic awakening must be known so that we can prevent deviation.

His Eminence pointed out that the first danger faced by the Islamic awakening is the confidence of the political elites in the enemy deceived by his promises and explained that the economic and political subordination to the West means the return of the dominance of foreigners on the countries that overthrew the dictatorship.

Regarding what is going on in Libya, Ayatollah Khamenei said that the U.S. and western intervention in Libya has cost many lives and destroyed infrastructure, stressing that the Libyan people are the ones entitled to draw the wheel of victory, and those who were supporting Gaddafi do not have any right to interfere in Libya’s future.

His Eminence stressed that the most important demands of the Muslim peoples is the active presence and critical roles in the management of their countries without a reproduction of Western democracy.

He added: "Tunisia, Yemen and Bahrain will take one path regarding the revival of national pride and dignity to achieve their demands and that what we know about Egypt's history and people is what pushed the Egyptian people to take to the stage to say their word."
