Islam Times - Rockets Fall in Baghdad's 'Green Zone' Near US Embassy

Islam Times - Iraqi media reported the news of a Katyusha rocket attack on the Green Zone in Baghdad, and sirens sounded from the American embassy.

The Katyusha attack coincides with France's announcement to withdraw its forces from Iraq.

Security sources said to the Iraqi "Baghdad Today" site, that 3 rockets landed inside the Green Zone, without any significant damage.

The website indicated that the sirens were sounded inside the American embassy, after hearing loud explosions, inside the Green Zone.

The Iraqi "Horizons" channel confirmed that a big explosion was heard in the vicinity of the American embassy in Baghdad.
