Deafening media silence on the Yemen war

Deafening media silence on the Yemen war
Yet, the war in Syria is subject to intense media scrutiny and their propaganda against Assad, Iran and Russia continues!

Ex-president Hadi, backed the Saudi had long persecuted the Houthis and worked against the interests of the Yemeni people. When the Houthis later rejected his power sharing offer because of his constant pandering to the US and Saudi Arabia, Hadi went into exile and the Houthi formed an alliance with Saleh to rule the country.

Although no evidence exists that Iran is arming the insurgency, the fact that the Houthi alliance is revolutionary and falls outside the ambit of the Anglo-Zionist Empire’s hegemony, the Houthis are considered to be the aggressors.

Yemen, despite being poor in resources, is strategically located at the entrance to the Red Sea and the Suez Canal.

When the Houthis discovered secret documents from the Yemeni National Security Bureau highlighting the extent of CIA operations, US officials said the takeover compromised their interests and the Saudi invasion followed within weeks.

Even the Muslims have failed to condemn it because of the imaginary conflict between Sunni and Shia, peddled by the media and promoted by Saudi Arabia. Everyone knows that Sunni, Shia and even Christians are fighting against the Saudi sponsored terrorists in Iraq and Syria, so it has never been a sectarian war but rather a struggle for independence and self-determination.

Iran is not an enemy of Sunnis but is thus promoted by the US because the country doesn’t take orders from America, has the region’s second largest oil reserves and remains a friend of Palestine.

Following in the footsteps of Iran, Iraq, Syria and Hezbollah the Houthis too are part of the non-sectarian axis of resistance and all efforts of the ‘globalist’ forces will be futile in changing anything on the ground, rather the contrary.
