We Christians Demand the Release of Sheikh Zakzaky: Nigerian Pastor
According to the Islam Times, a team of lawyers appeared in court on the 10th of July, which coincided with the last hearing of the trial of baseless allegations against Nigerian Shiite leader Sheikh Ibrahim Yaqub Zakzaky.

As Ishaq Adam, a member of the defense team, stated after the hearing, it appears that the trial was finally successful in favor of Sheikh Zakzaky, and the lawyers left the court happily.

That is why members of Sheikh Zakzaky's defense team believe that the sentencing hearing on July 28 will be a triumphant one and that Sheikh Zakzaky will be released.

"Islam Times" reporter to find out the views and opinions of Nigerian Christians regarding the formal and cruel trial against "Sheikh Zakzaky", And the verdict, which is to be issued in almost 10 days for this figure to be considered by all Nigerian people, including Muslims and Christians, contacted "Pastor Joshua Ahmed", one of the prominent Nigerian priests.

Pastor Joshua asserted strongly about Sheikh Zakzaky's trial, which lasted several years: "It is quite clear that this trial and the situation in which "Sheikh Zakzaki" and his wife are currently in is an injustice, and the continued imprisonment of "Sheikh Zakzaky" is the real definition of evil."

The Nigerian Christian religious official went on to warn the court officials and the organizers of this cruel trial: "Freedom is an important and necessary need for every individual, the court must remember that God Almighty exists and that whatever they do and take any action, one day they will be judged before God Almighty."

He added: "Sheikh Zakzaky has long been stripped of his liberty; I call on the well-meaning and benevolent Nigerians and all walks of life to come out and support the Sheikh; Because we want his release and remember that injustice to one person is oppression to all, and if you do not stand up to these oppressors today, one day it will be your turn."

According to the Islam Times, it was December 1994, during a pre-planned conspiracy by Nigerian military forces, albeit with the coordination of the Abuja government, and behind all this coordination with the green light of the United States, the Zionist regime and even Saudi Arabia who brutally martyred a large number of Nigerian Muslims, and "Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky" and his wife were taken prisoner while severely wounded.
