UN Envoy Leaves Yemen
Islam Times: He is expected to submit a report to the UN Security Council which will hold a meeting next Wednesday (21 Dec.). His report will explain the steps which have been completed regarding the agreement of power transfer in Yemen and the results of his visit to Yemen.

The official News Agency 'Saba' quoted him as saying, “now there is a significant development in the political situation and it has begun through it the implementation of the signed mechanism of the Gulf initiative and the formation of the National Reconciliation Government and there is a specific date for the early presidential elections in addition to the formation of the Committee of Military Affairs, which began in issuing its decisions”.

He pointed to the existence of some obstacles, " There are obstacles and they must be overcome rationally and resort to dialogue and understanding and reconciliation». Bin Omar said.

'The international community is watching closely what is going on in Yemen and the situation of Yemen was included in the schedule of the Security Council, which will follow the Yemeni situation' He added.

Pointing out that he will submit his report to the Security Council on the situation in Yemen in which it will take the necessary decisions on this aspect.

The bin Omar during his recent visit to Yemen to visit Taiz, Aden, and Saada, where he met with representatives of different parties to Yemen and visited the Altagheer Square " Square of Change" in Sana'a and met the youth of the Revolution.
