Ayatollah Issa Qassem calls for a public demonstration in Bahrain on Friday
The call was made to effectively respond to the comments of the Bahraini King Hamad Bin Issa who described the demonstrators and the participants in the revolution as Shiite minority who are subject to Iran.

He added that it is not a duel or out of provocation, but rather to emphasize that the political demands are not the demands of a handful few as promoted by the media. He stressed that anyone able to participate should respond to this call.

Sheikh Issa Qassem added that the calling comes amidst the escalating torture, murder, unfair imprisonment, employee layoffs, residential raids, slaughters, and a complete disregard of political demands.

He added that a people who have become aware of the value of their unity and stood up to oppression in unity will emerge victories regardless of the suffering endured.

He stressed that there is no greater humiliation than a people not allowed to act upon their own aware will and stressed that the Bahrainis did not wait for the Arab Spring to revolt, but they have been revolting for a long time and have not stopped and will not stop until victory is achieved.
