Yemeni protesters demand US ambassador’s expulsion
In the demonstration on Saturday, the protesters condemned Washington’s interference in Yemen’s internal affairs and said they will continue their revolution until all their demands are met.

The Yemeni protesters also want all officials close to deposed ruler Ali Abdullah Saleh, including new president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Al-Hadi, to be sacked.

Feierstein has been accused of playing roles in arranging the recent single-candidate presidential election in Yemen and returning former dictator Ali Abdullah Saleh home from a “medical visit” to the US.

Saleh formally stepped down last month following months of anti-regime protests. He was replaced by his deputy after a single-candidate presidential election backed by the US and Saudi Arabia. The vote has been criticized as a mockery of democracy throughout much of the world.

Yemenis want Saleh and his aides prosecuted for the killing of nearly 2,000 people since the revolution in Yemen began last year. Protesters accuse the US and Saudi Arabia of trying to end their revolution.
