Commander of the IRGC's Second Naval Zone Rear Admiral Ali Razmjou said Saturday that the forces could record the film at a distance of 500 meters (0.31 mile) from the US military vessel.

He said that the development shows only part of the IRGC’s might and prowess in the Persian Gulf.

Commander of Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Air Defense Base Brigadier General Farzad Esmaili said on April 10 that Iranian stealth surveillance aircraft flew over US aircraft carriers and other warships in the Persian Gulf, and captured images of them.

Iranian Army's electronic warfare unit on December 4, 2011, downed with minimum damage the US RQ-170 Sentinel stealth aircraft which was flying over the eastern city of Kashmar, some 225km (140 miles) from the Afghan border.

The RQ-170 is an unmanned stealth aircraft designed and developed by the Lockheed Martin Company.
