Saudi Arabia denies the news of the death of Foreign Minister Saud al-Faisal

Saudi news agency quoted foreign ministry official source confirming on Wednesday "that Prince Saud al-Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs, is fine and thankfully recovering from his surgery.

Reuters had reported that quoting a Saudi source that the Saudi foreign minister went into a coma and died and the agency was quick to pull the news ten minutes after the broadcast.

Prince Saud al-Faisal, who served as foreign minister for nearly 40 years, and being the oldest Minister Foreign Affairs minister in the world had undergone surgery in the intestine, two days before the exceptional Islamic Summit in Makkah.
