Afghans have right to self-determination, says a Pakistani scholar

Talking to Islam Times’ correspondent on Wednesday, he noted, “The U.S should realise that as communism was defeated in Afghanistan, NATO will also endure the same fate.”

Insisting that all U.S. troops should immediately withdraw from the region, Sayed Munawar Hasan said, “we will continue to call: Go Americans!”

“The U.S. and its allied forces should leave the region as soon as possible”, Munawar Hasan emphasized.

Although the White House knows fully well it failed to subdue Afghanistan it is determined to remain in the region long enough to see India prevails as the regional only power-house.

He warned that only Afghans will decide what come next on their soil.
