The Srebrenica massacre is considered as the worst single atrocity on European soil since World War II.
Islam Times reports from Press TV: On Wednesday, the Serbian parliament passed a resolution which condemned the massacre and apologized to the families of the victims.

The association said the Serbian parliament's resolution was worthless as it failed to call the killings genocide.

"For us it really means nothing" since it fails to mention the term genocide, Hajra Catic, head of an association of Srebrenica survivors, said on Wednesday.

"They should have not adopted it at all," she added.

The group further said that an International Court of Justice (ICJ) ruling has confirmed the atrocities committed in Bosnian town amount to genocide.

"We know that the crimes have been committed in all Bosnia but we do have a ruling of the International Court of Justice which says that in Srebrenica a genocide has been committed," Catic said.

A total of 8,000 Bosnian Muslim boys and men were killed when Serb troops overran the UN-protected town of Srebrenica in 1995.

The bloodbath is considered as the worst single atrocity on European soil since World War II.

The killings have been deemed to constitute genocide by two international courts, the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) as well as the ICJ.
