Iran, Egypt can form strong anti-arrogance front: Ahmadinejad

Addressing the Egyptian cultural and political elite in Cairo on Thursday, the president questioned the existence of conflicts among Muslims and between Muslims and Christians and added that Iran and Egypt can adopt an approach to promote unity across the universe.
 
He added that Muslims should pursue common goals because “we have a common enemy.”
 
Ahmadinejad expressed confidence that the Iranian and Egyptian nations are willing to cooperate with each other in order to establish a world based on justice and humanity.
 
Our nations should follow up long-term objectives to reach unity and convergence, Ahmadinejad pointed out.
 
Former secretary general of the Arab League and prominent political figure Amr Mousa were also present in the meeting.
 
    Meanwhile, addressing a meeting with Iranian nationals and foreign ambassadors in Egypt, President Ahmadinejad said enemies of humanity are using force against people and killing them and emphasized that the era of arrogant and bullying powers has come to an end.
 
 
The Zionists and arrogant powers would undoubtedly fall and the day of the nations’ freedom would come, he added.
 
The Iranian chief executive is on an official visit to Cairo for the 12th summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
