Haaretz says Hezbollah leader does not make empty threats on Galilee.
The modification is said to be the product of enhanced Israeli observation of Hezbollah’s improved capabilities as well as strategies.

In this context, the website also announced that the Israeli regime plans to evacuate 78,000 People in the event of a new war with Hezbollah.

A senior officer told Haaretz the plan “could knock the ground out from under Hezbollah\'s moves. It will find the place empty of inhabitants and will have to deal with IDF fighters.”

This decision is a clear manifestation of Israeli fears. But what they are not aware of is that evacuating the northern territories would facilitate the group’s activities. Since Hezbollah looks to confront Israeli occupation forces—as the group is known to target military posts—emptying it of settlers would help serve that end while avoiding collateral damage.

However, the principle adheres to the Israeli realization that Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah was not making empty threats when he said that the Lebanese resistance is capable of reaching Galilee.

In fact, observers are adamant that Hezbollah fighters are planning to carry out strikes near the border in a bid to overtake an Israeli settlement or military base.

Meanwhile, against the backdrop of Hezbollah expertise which it gained during the war in Syria, the Israelis have begun dealing with the group like a real army and not just a guerrilla organization.

According to Israeli analysis, Hezbollah will not settle for defense in the upcoming war. In addition to launching a volley of rockets on the Israeli side of the battle, Hezbollah might attempt an advanced attack along the border. It is not foreseen that Hezbollah would retake the entire Galilee but the thought of establishing a force to synchronize operations near the border is enough to trigger a wave of panic among Israeli leaders, hence the plan to evacuate tens of thousands.
