Al-Qaeda Terrorists Surrendered in East Damascus

The 4th Mechanized Division and 105th Brigade of the Republican Guard were tasked with liberating the large eastern suburbs of Al-Qaboun and Barzeh and are making slow but steady progress in these residential areas.

Local terrorist leadership in the area refused to accept an evacuation deal to relocate to Idlib, yet demoralized individual terrorists seem quite willing to surrender. Almost 100 terrorists have laid down their arms and were captured since the offensive began in February.
