The protests, now in their 18th week, saw the end of President Abdelaziz Bouteflika's rule after he stepped on April 2 under pressure from the army after the mass protests began in February.
Authorities have postponed a presidential election previously planned for July 4 because of a lack of candidates, with no new date set for the vote.
