Trump Names Hostage Negotiator Robert O’Brien as New National Security Adviser

Islam Times - US President Donald Trump announced that he has chosen the U.S. hostage negotiator Robert O’Brien to replace John Bolton as his national security adviser.
"I am pleased to announce that I will name Robert C. O'Brien, currently serving as the very successful Special Presidential Envoy for Hostage Affairs at the State Department, as our new National Security Advisor. I have worked long & hard with Robert. He will do a great job!" Trump wrote on Twitter.
O'Brien has a long history in the Republican foreign policy circles.
Since his inauguration as US president in January 2017, Trump has fired three national security advisers: Michael Flynn, Herbert McMaster and John Bolton.
