There is a significant increase in suicide among Army soldiers: The Pentagon
The report came after three US sailors working on the USS George W. Bush apparently committed suicide last week. The Navy said the incidents were separate, according to Reuters.

The Pentagon's first annual suicide report on soldiers' suicide rate in service was 24.8 per 100,000 higher from about 20 per 100,000 in 2013.

The report said 541 soldiers committed suicide in 2018, adding that suicide with a firearm was the most common.

The US News website revealed that 46 members of the US Navy have committed suicide since September 5, while 286 American soldiers committed suicide in 2018.

The "suicide" phenomenon has become a problem for the Pentagon, where they have launched several programs to protect the lives of military personnel.
