President Rouhani Meets with the Japanese Prime Minister

The two sides are expected to discuss developing bilateral relations, the nuclear agreement, the US embargo against Iran and Japan's intention to send military forces to the Middle East region and energy trade.

The Japanese Prime Minister visited Tehran a few months ago, as the first Prime Minister of Japan to visit Tehran after 40 years. He also met with the Iranian President in September in New York on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.

It is noteworthy that the Iranian President "Hassan Rouhani" had arrived in the Japanese capital Tokyo this morning from the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur, which he visited at the invitation of its Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad to participate in the mini-Islamic summit "Kuala Lumpur 2019".
